What is a good brand if dobro,styie, starter instrument.?

I play other instruments but I would like to find a good brand name squareback, Dobro style guitar that is not expensive. Due to health conditions I would play only a short time.

What is the difference between a round neck dobro and a square neck dobro?

The neck on a square dobro is much wider than one on a round neck. Also, a square neck is made to be played on your lap, unlike the round neck dobro that is made to be held & played like any other guitar.
